I can best be described
as an ‘outside’ artist although currently
‘outside’ may be ‘inside‘. This
description, however, is based on the fact that I have
had no formal art school training. My means
and methods have been learned primarily from my wife Patricia
Dennis (1946-) in her studio and the studio of Frank (Francesco)
Licciardi (1916 – 1991).
I enjoy working with a variety
of materials including board, industrial products, and
canvas in which I apply oil, encaustics, pastels, and
crayon.
I‘m fortunate in the
fact that I was captivated by art at an early age leading
to my emergence as
an artist later in my life.
